Compare And Contrast Odysseus And Harry Potter - 759 Words

Once upon a time, our world was born. Through evolution, the human race finally emerged on this planet. Powerful intelligent people will be the leader of the tribe. We called these people ‘heroes’. There are a lot of heroes that have been born in this world. Some are the actual people, some are the people in our imagination. Here are two heroes from our imagination who don’t even exist in this world but always stay in our mind. Odysseus and Harry Potter are well-known heroes. They both have similar circumstances to become great heroes, but also have some different things among them. The last thing that made Odysseus different from Harry Potter is the goal of each person. Harry Potter’s goal is to get rid of Lord Voldemort and make Hogwart peaceful. Harry knew that Voldemort is the exact enemy of him and he must destroy him while Odysseus couldn’t know what type of thing he must get over the next and his goal is only finding a way to come back to his home. From the paragraph, we will see that both heroes have both similarities and differences. One is a wizard, one is a strong person. Each one has a different ideology, but they both still be the hero in our hearts. To be a hero is not easy, but its not too difficult. We all can be heroes. Look at the beginning of Harry Potter and Odysseus. They both are just ordinary people, but because of their ability and their intelligence makes them our hero. Many people may ask because Harry Potter is a powerful wizard, Odysseus is a powerful king, but what will happen if Harry Potter be a wizard like Voldemort and Odysseus be the person like those suitors.
