Advertising is a form of communication intended to persuade an audience (viewers, readers or listeners) to purchase or take some action upon products, ideals, or services. It includes the name of a product or service and how that product or service could benefit the consumer, to persuade a target market to purchase or to consume that particular brand. Advertising can also serve to communicate an idea to a mass amount of people in an attempt to convince them to take a certain action, such as encouraging ‘environmentally friendly’ behaviors, and even unhealthy behaviors through food consumption, video game and television viewing promotion, and a â€Å"lazy man† routine through a loss of exercise . Because they wanted to reach their sound toward their viewer and they were totally successful on that motive. And for me it’s the main point of every advertisement. THE BAD ADVERBTISEMENT: There are a lot of things wrong here. First of all, the entire idea is a non sequitur — two things that shouldn’t go together, but which are smashed into the same space. The idea of professional hockey players using luggage in the place of sticks is absurd, and since the ad is meant to be flashy, not humorous, the absurdity makes no sense whatsoever. Second, the ad tells you nothing about the product. I think what they were going for was that the luggage is so durable that you could play an aggressive sport with it.
